Job Coach Lead Staff
Chrysalis is a company that provides a variety of support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles that have developmental and intellectual disabilities. These individuals also have a variety of fragile medical issues. This position requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, make crucial decisions in regards to the care and treatment of at-risk individuals, and possess the ability to communicate those decisions effectively to others. The Job Coach Lead Staff will be assigned to a Job Coach Manager and supervise Job Coaches as needed. This entry-level position has a competitive wage range of $17-$18.50.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively to the individuals
- Punctuality and regular/consistent attendance at the worksite are required and the employee must be able adhere to their workplace schedule in order to ensure proper oversight of individuals.
- Stay awake, responsive, and communicate effectively to the individuals
- Conduct Work Strategy Assessments within required time frames
- Assist with VR summaries and make sure they are written appropriately and on time
- Compile VR summaries each Friday by 5:00 pm
- Assist in gathering the USOR-93 by the 5th of each
- Audit the USOR- 93 for accuracy and required information
- coordinate with employment sites
- Assist with developing the job coaches at the various employment sites
- Coordinate schedules
- Attend correlation/mentor meeting with the managers
- Supervise Job Coaches as needed in absence of the Job Coach Manager
- Build relationships with employers
- Support the individual’s choices
- Provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment
- Implement Person Centered Plans
- Supervise individuals according to the Supervision Guidelines
- Follow Behavioral Plans
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Pass and maintain a passable criminal background check and LEIE per state regulations
- Should possess the ability to speak, read and write effectively in English
- Must be able to meet driving requirements
Experience or Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Training and Certifications:
- Certified through Association of Community Rehabilitation Educator (ACRE) Employment Services Basic Level
- Complete all initial and on-going training requirements within established time frames
- Complete annual CPR, First Aid, and OSHA training (All Employees)
- Obtain and maintain SOAR certification (All Employees)
